Denise J. Price
Denise has been a CPA for many years. First as an accountant for duPont de Nemours in Wilmington, DE. She then started at KPMG (Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.) rising to the Partner level and managing the firm’s San Francisco Bay Area governmental accounting audit practice. She then moved to Chicago, IL and eventually headed up the Internal Audit function for the Argonne National Lab near Chicago. Upon “retiring” to Pinehurst, NC with her husband Jeff, she joined forces with him to create the firm as configured today.
Jeff Price
Jeff worked for a number of CPA firms both local and international before starting his own practice in 1986. After leaving the San Francisco Bay Area in 2000, he worked as a Controller for a family owned group of companies in the western suburbs of Chicago. However, the desire to return to the public practice of accounting was too great and in 2001 Jeff re-started his CPA firm. When the children had left the nest (and off the payroll) Jeff and his wife Denise “retired” to Pinehurst, NC where they began a new chapter of The Price CPA Group, P.C. as we know it today.
